A Reality

            A REALITY

For all living things, the last act of living is going through the process of dying.  I don't look at that as a sad fact.  Rather, I see it as an absolute reality with which each of us has to come to grip.

The one thing that can redirect our focus from and fear of that reality is our attitude.  Deal with the reality of death by focusing on doing your absolute best to live each day of life, regardless of the risk or reward.  An attitude of recognition and acceptance concerning the limits of our life will set each of us free to explore life's boundaries while alive.

The consequence of that exploration...A life lived to its fullest is a life that inevitably has contributed to the well-being of all.  It is a life whose legacy will outlive the reality of its end.
