What Goes Around...
WHAT GOES AROUND...It's interesting as we all go round and round in our individual lives how things have a way of coming back to us in one way or another. Take the rearing of children as an example. Those of us who have had children can relate to the fact that when they are first born we, as parents, are usually filled with a certain amount of trepidation. We ask ourselves questions like:
What do I do now? How can I possibly meet the responsibility of raising this child or these children? How do I change their diaper or potty train them? How do I answer their deeply philosophical questions in a way that they can understand? What will they be like when they grow up?
In the final analysis, our children can be a wonder to us. We wonder why they have turned out so well given their parents' quirks and inexperience.
As time goes by even more and our children become parents we experience a similar sense of wonderment. The fact is our grandchildren can be a wonder. We wonder why they have turned out so well given their parents' quirks and inexperience.
Yes, what goes around comes around. That's life! Enjoy it while you have it!
