In Not Out

You know what I mean.  It may be something you do, as well, but for sure far to many people do it.  "It" is looking out to find yourself rather than looking in.

So many times I find people frantically searching the world around them for something they can connect to their identity.  It's as if they don't value themselves as much as they do the outside world.  They seem to think the world must be right because it sure can't be within them!

It's like the German-born Swiss poet, novelist and painter, Hermann Hesse, once said:  "There's no reality except the one contained within us. That's why so many people live an unreal life. They take images outside them for reality and never allow the world within them to assert itself."

Assert yourself!  You're good enough.
